We are looking for someone who would be excited to get involved with a clinic refresh and rebrand; this is a real opportunity to have real influence and be involved with this exciting project.
Fix or flex - work life balance that works for you
We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. The full-time position is typically 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week with a combination of early shifts from 8 am - 4:30 pm and late shifts from 11 am - 7:30 pm. It also involves 1:4 Saturday mornings and there is no OOH. We value our nurses and recognize the integral part they play within our teams, which is why we can offer flexible working hours. Whether you are looking for condensed hours/days, or hours around school runs/hobbies, we can offer true flexibility that works for you.
Explore a world of opportunity
We are a first-opinion, SA practice conveniently situated in the bustling high street of Woodley with good public transport links. Our practice has a great team atmosphere, and we're in the midst of an exciting rebrand and clinic redesign. We're also working on achieving awards and certifications, with a focus on Exotics, Surgery, and becoming rabbit- and cat-friendly.
Our modern practice
Our facility is large and modern with 4 consult rooms: a dedicated digital x-ray and ultrasound room, a modern theatre, prep room with tub table, separate cat and dog kennels, an in-house lab, patient monitoring equipment such as a multiparameter and blood pressure machine and also drip pumps, baer huggers and fluid warmers.
Join a supportive team
Our clinical team is supported by an experienced reception team and a Client Care Manager with a background in Vet Specialist Referrals. The leadership team includes an experienced Practice Director, an Area Support Manager, and an Area Director who is a vet with a surgery certificate. This ensures our top priority is the team, with a focus on listening to their input to improve operations.
Our Head Vet has over 8 years of experience and enjoys teaching/mentoring others. They are also currently working towards securing a surgery certificate, with a keen interest and breadth of experience in both Soft tissue surgery and exotics/wildlife. One Vet is also currently completing their medicine and surgery certificate, with a focus on perfecting all skills at GP level. Our team is passionate about providing gold-standard care to our clients and their pets and we have a strong ethos of teamwork and communication. The team is also supported by a local Veterinary hospital with overnight care that also provides training opportunities for the team. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive environment that offers the scope for further development in your chosen area of interest.
