Veterinary Surgeon – Pig Vet

Independent Practice

North Yorkshire

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Pig Veterinary Surgeon to join an expanding, independent mixed practice based in Easingwold, North Yorkshire. The practice has a strong focus on farm work (80%) and is looking for a skilled professional to support the growth of its pig team.

What They’re Looking For:

Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with experience in pig production systems or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of pig production, including:

  1. Advising on disease prevention strategies
  2. Health planning and management
  3. Auditing and meeting regulatory requirements

The practice supports a variety of systems, including extensive outdoor three-site production and intensive indoor farrow-to-finish units, providing a diverse and rewarding caseload. While experience is preferred, enthusiasm is essential, and comprehensive support and training will be offered to the right candidate.
