Our Environment
Our practice has been locally owned and run by Rhiannon, BvetMed (Hons) CertAVP MRCVS, since opening in 2018. Rhiannon qualified in 2012 from the Royal Veterinary College and has experience and a special interest in emergency medicine and procedures, as well as a keen interest in exotics, and of course her teams' wellbeing too! Proud owners of an ISFM Silver Certificate Cat Friendly Clinic award, a RAW Silver Rabbit Friendly award and an approved RCVS small animal practice, we also have all the facilities and equipment you'd expect from a thriving GP small animal practice.

Rhiannon is supported by a great team of longstanding colleagues, including a high ratio of nurse to vet support from a team of nurses who utilise their skills to their full potential, including schedule 3. Not forgetting our brilliant students, VCA, client care team and practice manager! We really are like family and are looking forward to welcoming a new vet with open arms. We're a collaborative team where everyone has their say and input, whether that's ad-hoc or in our regular monthly meetings (or socials!).

The Role
As Laura will be relocating soon, we're looking for a good natured, experienced veterinary surgeon to join us in looking after our furry friends when she's gone! This is a balanced role with surgery and medicine and some sole charge, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to practice your skills and learn new ones. As a solid GP practice with a varied caseload, you can expect to work at a steady pace with standard consults given 15 minutes and all other appointments ½ an hour. We're in the unique position of offering hours that are framed to suit you and your needs and are therefore happy to discuss a rota that works for your lifestyle. It's important to us that our colleagues can enjoy an excellent work/life balance and we try our best to make sure this is the case.
