Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for a personable veterinary surgeon to join our friendly and busy team in Hatfield Vets for Pets on a Full or Part time basis!

You will be joining a supportive team with a loyal client base and excellent local reputation.

Our practice is based inside a busy Pets at Home Store and is purpose built to industry leading standards and offers digital X-ray, a bright and spacious prep area, ultrasound machine, dedicated theatre, in house lab, separate dog, cat and isolation wards and 3 consult rooms.

You'll be joining a growing team of 2 Vets, 2 Nurses, an SVN and a Practice Manager, and a small team of support colleagues. We all share a love of pets and a common goal of providing the highest standards of healthcare for patients and clients alike, as well as providing a supportive working environment to each of our colleagues.

As the ideal candidate to join our team, you will be passionate about providing excellent patient care, confident with routine surgery and medicine and comfortable with small furries. You will recognise the importance of building strong, trusted relationships with patients and clients and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

This is a part time position for 20-25 hours per week, 8-10 hour shifts (depending on your preference. We ideally we would like somebody who is willing to work weekends on a 1 in 3 rota basis (Open 9-12:30 on Saturdays, Closed Sundays). There is no OOHs responsibility with this role but there will be an element of sole charge with support from the nursing team.
