We have an exciting opportunity for a Referrals Manager to join our high-achieving team!
We are looking for a passionate ambassador to oversee and help manage Rowe Veterinary Referrals and our extensive client services team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and influential communication skills, as you will be interacting at all levels with both internal stakeholders (referring veterinary practices and company senior management) and end users (pet owners).
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial culture where you will have the opportunity to develop our referral standards and strategies. There will be the need to travel to other veterinary practices to participate in meetings/conferences.
The Referrals Manager at Rowe Veterinary Referrals plays a vital role in supervising and managing the referral team, processes, and protocols. Working closely with the Clinical Directors, Practice Director, and other key stakeholders, you will ensure a thorough understanding and effective planning of referral procedures throughout the clinic. This includes keeping abreast of nationwide referral activities and collaborating with the Clinical Directors to achieve referral road mapping objectives.
Key responsibilities encompass team management, effective project oversight, and maintaining a results-oriented, commercial approach. You will oversee the referral administration team, manage booking protocols, and coordinate appraisal reviews. Additionally, you will have a significant role in IT and marketing efforts, partnering with the IVC marketing team to troubleshoot daily challenges and promote Rowe Veterinary Referrals through various channels.
Collaboration with the Practice Director and Clinical Directors will be essential in managing relationships with referring practices, analysing campaign performance, and assessing local and regional competitive landscapes. Financial duties involve ensuring referral costs remain within budget and assisting in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) in conjunction with the Clinical Directors and Practice Director. You will also actively engage in internal and external events and conferences, contributing to the content for internal communications. You will maintain strong relationships with our referring practices and foster new ones by visiting veterinary practices and promoting Rowe Referrals.
Created in 2000, Rowe Veterinary Referrals (RVR) is part of the long-established Rowe Veterinary Group (RVG). RVR is a multidisciplinary, multi-site, referral veterinary practice based in North Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire with an extensive network of outpatient clinics across the Southwest and Wales. We are part of the IVC Evidensia group.
Rowe Veterinary Referrals provides second opinion Veterinary Services across ten disciplines (ophthalmology, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, ultrasonography, MRI, CT and radioactive iodine treatment). RVR staff work out of three separate sites, caring for patients referred from Veterinary practices throughout the Southwest and Wales. Tertiary referrals are also seen from across the UK. Our Bristol Hospital is home to most of the referral team and has recently undergone significant building work which has allowed consolidation of the existing referral teams and provide space for growth of our referral services.
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week which is spread over 5 working days. Typical shift patterns are 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, however we can accommodate some flexible working requests. There are no weekend or on call duties for this position.
