Job description

Here at Oakfield Vet Group, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

Your daily routine will offer a diverse and stimulating mix of responsibilities. Your duties will involve monitoring anaesthetics, administrating medicine, taking x-rays, running bloods, nurse consultations along with other general nursing duties plus a little reception work. This variety not only keeps your work engaging and interesting but also provides you with the opportunity to learn and grow in a varied professional environment.

Rota patterns

Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. The rota is for 38:33 hours per week over 5 days, Saturdays are covered on a 1:5 rota basis and there is no out of hours.

About Oakfield Vet Group

This position will be based at our Castle Bromwich, situated in an excellent location with easy access to Birmingham and the rest of the country. We are a long-standing practice with a loyal client base and a fantastic team. We are constantly looking to improve and have recently refurbished and redecorated the practice to help us deliver an excellent service.

Our practice has purpose-built facilities and modern technology across our branches including digital and dental x-ray, laser, ultrasound including cardiac scanner.
