Veterinary Nurse - Richmond

Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) seeking a fulfilling role in a modern, independent practice? Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in delivering high-quality nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients, including monitoring vital signs and administering treatments.
2. Prepare for and assist during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
3. Perform diagnostic tests such as blood samples, urine analysis, and x-rays, contributing to accurate and timely diagnoses.
4. Educate and support pet owners on various aspects of animal health, including preventive care, nutrition, and post-operative recovery.
5. Participate in inventory management, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of the practice.

We are seeking a qualified RVN who is passionate about animal welfare and client care. The ideal candidate will possess:

1. A valid veterinary nursing diploma or certificate, or a bachelor's degree in veterinary science or a related field.
2. Previous experience in a veterinary nursing role is preferred but not essential; new graduates are welcome to apply.
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
4. A compassionate approach to animal care, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
