Ventilation Project Manager

Location - We are ideally seeking a candidate based in the Midlands who is willing to travel to client sites as needed. If you're not on-site with a client, you can work from our head office in Birmingham.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will manage all parts of adi Climate Systems projects from start to finish. This includes planning, organizing, and implementing solutions. You will work with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects meet their needs and follow safety standards.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Compiling and organising contract files, verifying customer data and specifications for smooth project initiation.
2. Reviewing budgets and technical details during the sales handover to ensure alignment.
3. Creating and maintaining project timelines to keep everything on track.
4. Coordinating with design engineers to manage contract variations effectively.
5. Preparing quotations and conducting risk assessments for site installations.
6. Ensuring project completion aligns with customer requirements and document buy-off.
7. Presenting project reports and maintaining accurate quotations reflecting changes.
8. Developing work schedules and assisting in competitive bid proposals.
9. Managing project resources, tracking progress, and addressing risks proactively.
10. Building strong client relationships and conducting value engineering to enhance outcomes.
11. Overseeing project delivery to meet quality, schedule, and budget standards.
12. Managing projects ranging from £50,000 to £2 million.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

1. Previous experience working as a project or contracts manager in HVAC.
2. Good technical knowledge in ventilation with experience of Heating, Chilled water, Chiller & AHU installations.
3. Preferred work experience within food & beverage, automotive and manufacturing sector.
4. Previous experience in a client facing role.
5. Ability to price project variations and issue quotes.
6. Ability to manage projects from conception to completion including all labour & Material requirements.
7. Ability to input with Pre-construction to design and create project specification.
