Vehicle Test Technician - (0952) - Cranfield - £18.64/hr PAYE + 34 days paid holiday + pension contribution (Salary equivalent est £37,804)

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare, build, and maintain vehicles or components for testing in line with local procedures and company Engineering Manuals.
  • Support testing in both static and dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test data/results.
  • Engage in evaluation and concern identification, including liaison with Test Engineers.
  • Contribute to the delivery of Key Performance Indicators for the section.
  • Utilize skills to provide support to other sections as required.
  • Manage and prioritize own workload to ensure efficient operations.

What You Will Bring:

  • A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, ideally backed by a recognised Apprenticeship or relevant field experience.
  • Proficiency in practical mechanical/electrical skills, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • A commitment to work safely and comply with company and legal safety policies.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data management and creating graphs, along with a good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint for report writing and presentations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently.

Details:

This role offers £18.64/hr PAYE and includes 34 days paid holiday and pension contributions - Salary equivalent estimate (£37,804 per annum). 12 month initial rolling contract with 4 weeks notice. 39 hours per week; Core hours Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00. Friday 08:00-13:20.
