Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, Canterbury Nissan

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per year Plus Bonus

Vehicle Technician Level 3

The successful candidate will need to have recent experience within a franchised dealership or Independent/fast-fit, be able to maintain a high level of workmanship, have a good technical ability (although training will be provided in Dealer & through the Brand) and be flexible in their approach.

Experience within the Nissan franchise would be an advantage as would being a qualified MOT Tester.

A Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and a full clean driving licence are essential for this role.

Salary Banding Dependent on Experience between £27,000 – £32,000 with realistic bonus earning potential of between £1,500 - £4,000.

Working hours Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and mechanical repairs.
• MOT testing in accordance with VOSA requirements.
• PDI of new Nissan vehicles.
• Preparation of used vehicles.
• Carrying out diagnostic work.
