Job description

Position: Qualified Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester

Location: Norwich, UK

Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (minimum 8 hours a day), with the possibility of additional weekend work

Hourly Rate: £20.00-£23.00 per hour

Recruitment Boutique are automotive recruitment specialists, dedicated to connecting top talent with well-established workshops. We are currently seeking a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our client's team on a temporary contract basis in Norwich.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work in a dealership environment and adapt to a fast-paced workshop setting.
  2. Conduct inspections and routine services on vehicles.
  3. Complete vehicle repairs in a professional and safe manner, following dealer standards.
  4. Communicate effectively with various departments across the dealership.
  5. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Requirements:

  1. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (essential).
  2. MOT Licence preferred but not essential.
  3. Full Driving Licence (essential).
  4. Proven experience in an automotive workshop environment.
  5. Strong communication skills.

Working Hours:

8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (minimum 8 hours a day). Possibility of additional weekend work, compensated at a weekend rate.
