Job description

Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester - Edgware, Greater London
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm, alternate Saturdays
Salary: £33,000-£35,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our client's dedicated team in Edgware, Greater London on a permanent basis. The mechanical dealership in Edgware is responsible for the servicing and repairs of manufacturer vehicles to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines. You will be responsible for the servicing and MOTs of manufacturer vehicles and will need to have knowledge and understanding of multi-brand cars.

Objectives for Role:
  1. Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs.
  2. Ability to understand and follow advised customers repair standards.
  3. Ability to problem solve and diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues.
  4. Conduct MOT tests, perform general mechanical repairs, and service a variety of vehicles.
Experience & Qualifications:
  1. Qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ or IMI qualified to Level 2.
  2. Class 4 MOT Licence.
  3. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  4. Full category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
