Salary and Benefits: Apprentice salary with pension and generous benefits including: 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), Birthday off (we like to celebrate!), great pension, generous commission schemes, reward savings, and much more. As an Apprentice Technician / Mechanic with us, you’ll be given the support of a dedicated mentor and exclusive internal training opportunities, all geared towards helping you become the best version of yourself whilst progressing as a technician.

An apprenticeship with Lithia UK is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career as a Vehicle Technician with a view to becoming a fully trained Technician with an IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance.

Your daily journey as an Apprentice Technician / Mechanic:

1. Learning to service vehicles – conducting checks and maintaining vehicles as per set guidelines.
2. Acquiring the skills to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
3. Producing time estimates for repairs and maintenance to vehicles.
4. Maintaining records of repairs and services, both on our in-house computer system and for the benefit of our valued customers.

Qualities we seek in an Apprentice Technician / Mechanic:

1. A genuine passion for vehicles.
2. The ability to follow instructions with precision and dedication.
3. Enthusiasm.
4. A keen eye for detail.
5. A minimum grade C or Grade 4 in English or Maths.
