Vehicle Technician

Job Role: Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £30,000-£50,000 per annum

Hours: 8:00-17:30 Monday-Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00-13:00

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Duties:

1. To carry out maintenance, service and repair on an array of class 4 & 7 motor vehicles.
2. Clutch changes, gearbox replacements, wheel alignment, engine fault finding and repair alongside general motor works.
3. To work closely with fellow mechanics and site members to ensure time frames for repairs are communicated clearly alongside quoting customers effectively.
4. Attend company training and development where necessary.
5. To work alone and as part of a team.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic working on class 4/7 vehicles for a minimum of 3 years.
2. Relevant qualifications (Motor Vehicle repair & maintenance etc NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds) would be advantageous but NOT essential.
3. Team player and open for growth & development.
4. Ability to carry out vehicle diagnostics.
