Job description

Vehicle Technician (Mechanic)

Pembrook Resourcing are searching for a Vehicle Technician (mechanic) to join our client, a well renowned dealership.

Benefits:

  2. 25 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays!)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair issues with customer vehicles.
  2. Plan and schedule repair procedures.
  3. Explain to customers the work recommended/completed.
  4. Test functionality of vehicle parts and systems.
  5. Perform vehicle service & maintenance tasks (e.g oil changes, tyre rotation).
  6. Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.

You will need:
  1. At least 2 years experience within a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic role.
  2. Have a minimum of Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification.
  3. Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.
  4. A full UK driving licence.
  5. Working knowledge and understanding of diagnostic tools.
