Vehicle Technician

£26k - £36k Basic DOE and qualifications + Bonus

Cambridge

Permanent/Full Time

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm/Saturday rota 1 in 4 8am to 1pm

Our client, a Motor Trade main dealer group in the Cambridge area, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. If you hold the right experience – this could be your next role!

Duties & Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

  1. Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
  2. Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  3. Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
  4. Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  5. Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
  6. Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
  7. Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.

Your Background & Skill:

  1. Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer setting.
  2. Strong communication skills.
  3. Full UK Driving Licence.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. MOT Qualified preferred.
