Vehicle Ramp Inspector - Nights

Location: Grimsby

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 - 06:00

Salary: £37,321 - £41,207 per annum

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are recruiting Vehicle Ramp Inspectors on behalf of our client, a leading automotive company in Grimsby. This role is critical to ensuring vehicles meet required standards before reaching customers. Candidates must have a Level 2 qualification or higher and previous experience in a similar role.

The Role:
  1. Perform visual inspections of keys, tyres, wipers, and lights.
  2. Carry out under-bonnet checks and listen for engine noises or rattling.
  3. Inspect brakes, suspension components, and underbody for faults.
  4. Complete function tests on onboard equipment.
  5. Conduct diagnostic checks and report any issues.
  6. May be required to carry out mechanical repairs as needed.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification (essential).
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years).
  4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
