Vehicle Prep/ Service Technician Required

* Well Established Independent Garage

* Based in Ramsgate, Kent

* Circa £30k Basic Salary + Bonus

* Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm - No Weekends!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and service vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy
2. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify technical issues
3. Perform routine maintenance and repairs as per manufacturer specifications
4. Collaborate with team members to provide efficient service delivery
5. Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
6. Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and protocols

Skills & Experience Required:

1. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
2. Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques
3. Excellent problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
5. Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology
