Job description

Vehicle Technician

Monday to Friday

Based in Oldham

8am to 4.30/5pm

Wage: £36,000 to £40,000 negotiable

We are currently seeking a skilled Electric Vehicle Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing a variety of electric/hybrid vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive technology and a keen eye for detail.

Duties:

  1. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
  3. Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and ensure road worthiness.
  4. Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems.
  5. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work undertaken.

Experience Required:
  1. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
  2. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  3. Strong knowledge of vehicle components and systems.
  4. Formal qualification in Automotive Engineering or related field.
  5. Experience working with hybrid or electric vehicles.
