Workshop Mechanic (Prep Tech) - Livingston
Salary Dependent on Experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Mechanic (Prep Tech) to join a well-established business at their Livingston site. This is a fantastic role for an experienced and motivated individual looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced workshop environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare cars for retail sale to ensure they meet the required standards.
  2. Liaise with customers and the sales team to resolve any issues efficiently.
  3. Understand and adhere to customer standards while completing work.
  4. Remove and refit parts, ensuring repairs meet high-quality standards.
  5. Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional working environment at all times.

Ideally, we are looking for:
  1. Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting.
  2. Good knowledge and understanding of multi-brand cars and vans.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  6. A strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (42.5 hours per week, 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
