Contract Vehicle Builder & Electrical Fitter - Inverness
£30 per hour Ltd (Outside IR35) | £80 per shift for accommodation
7-Week Contract | Average 40 Hours per Week

Ford and Stanley are seeking 1 skilled Vehicle Builder and 1 Electrical Fitter with rail experience for a 7-week contract in Inverness, starting 31st March 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting project that will help revolutionize passenger experiences by enhancing train-to-shore communication and providing better Wi-Fi for passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installing cutting-edge satellite technology on a fleet of trains.
2. Ensuring the latest systems are integrated to improve train-to-shore communication and Wi-Fi quality.
3. Performing work on vehicle roofs, so experience working at heights is essential.
4. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to execute precise installations.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Previous experience working in the rail industry, particularly with rolling stock.
2. Experience installing Wi-Fi systems is a plus but not essential.
3. Ability to work at heights is required for roof installations.
4. Strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to follow them accurately.
