The Financial Investors Indirect Tax team is expanding and seeking high-calibre individuals at the Associate Director level. This team, known for its proactive and entrepreneurial spirit, advises on VAT for financial investor clients, including high-value private equity and real estate transactions in the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead VAT input on major transaction support engagements.
  • Provide end-to-end VAT advice for clients and their investee businesses.
  • Advise on VAT recovery positions, fund structures, and compliance issues.
  • Review contracts and advise on UK VAT issues.
  • Manage client engagements and develop team members.
  • Deepen client relationships and contribute to winning new work.
  • Develop new market opportunities and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.
  • Shape the team culture and ensure it remains a great place to work.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Relevant experience in practice, industry, or with HMRC.
  • Excellent client-facing, relationship-building, and business development skills.
  • Proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities and lead project teams.
