Van Technician/MOT Tester needed

Location: Heathrow

Our client, a commercial vehicle dealership, is seeking a Van Technician/MOT Tester to join their team.

Role: Van Technician/MOT Tester

Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with 60 minute unpaid lunch); every third Saturday morning @ time and half

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out MOT Tests
2. Completing routine maintenance inspections
3. Servicing and general repairs
4. In-depth diagnosis, gearbox, and engine replacements

Requirements:

1. MOT Tester Certification Class 4 & 7
2. Relevant qualification or proven technical experience
3. Problem Solver - Actively seeking solutions
4. Open Communicator - Encouraging collaboration
5. Team Player - Working together to achieve goals
6. Organised - Keeping to deadlines
7. Flexible - Willing to take on a variety of tasks
8. Health and Safety - Understanding of health and safety requirements

Preferred but not essential requirements:

1. Level 3 Qualification desired; however, we will consider time served applications over 5 years with proven experience
2. Experience of working on light commercial vehicles
