Our client, the UK's largest independent Trucks dealer, is seeking a Van Sales Manager to join their team.
Role: Van Sales Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the LCV Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as a point of escalation for complex sales matters.
- Ensure the LCV sales team is equipped with comprehensive product knowledge and training on Renault Trucks and Isuzu Trucks.
- Collaborate with marketing and aftersales teams to create targeted campaigns and enhance the customer journey.
- Oversee pricing, promotions, and inventory to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Recruit, train, and mentor new team members to maintain a high standard of sales expertise and professionalism.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the LCV market.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in sales management, preferably within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
- Strong understanding of LCVs, ideally Renault Trucks and/or Isuzu Trucks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office Programs.
- Experience in Online Sales and Marketing.
