Van Delivery Driver - Multidrop

Location: Rochester

Shift Pattern: 5/6am starts, Monday to Friday, typical shifts 8 - 12 hrs per day.

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

Contract Type: Temp to perm for the right candidate

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced van delivery driver for a busy multi-drop role. You will be responsible for delivering a variety of goods, including furniture, chemicals (e.g., cleaning products), bathroom supplies, flooring products, and more. This role involves frequent deliveries across central London and the surrounding areas, so candidates must be comfortable with city driving and multiple drop-offs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver a variety of goods to customers in central London and surrounding counties including as far Norwich.
2. Handle and transport different types of products, including palletised and boxed items.
3. Use powered pump trucks and tail lifts where necessary (training provided).
4. Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and company standards while operating the vehicle.
6. Load and unload the vehicle using appropriate equipment where FLTs are not available.

Requirements

1. Full UK driving licence.
2. Previous multi-drop driving experience is essential.
3. Manual Handling is required.
4. No more than six penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).
5. Strong knowledge of the UK road network, particularly London.
