Valet Car Parking Attendant / Parts Assistant required in East London.

Our client is a successful Accident and Repair Centre based in East London close to the Thames River, actively looking to hire a Valet Car Parking Attendant / Parts Assistant for their busy workshop.

Responsibilities of this Valet Car Parking Attendant / Parts Assistant role include:

1. Car Parts Stock Allocation: Check in car parts by verifying against invoices, labeling, and organizing them in designated areas.
2. Car Parts Returns: Coordinate the parts that need to be returned with parts supplier drivers.
3. Vehicle Transfers: Move completed cars from their workshop to a nearby car park which is a 2-minute drive away.
4. Vehicle Retrievals: Bring cars from our car park to the garage for repair upon technician request.
5. Customer Handovers: Return completed cars from the car park to the garage for customer collection.
6. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist the General Manager and Director with any additional duties as required.
7. Front of House Support: Address customer inquiries and provide support as needed.

What We’re Looking For in a Valet Car Parking Attendant / Parts Assistant:

1. A reliable team player with a proactive attitude.
2. A full UK driver’s license with minimal points is essential.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Effective communication skills to handle front-of-house inquiries.
5. Ideally previous experience working in a car parts department.

Details of this Valet Car Parking Attendant / Parts Assistant vacancy include:

1. 40 hours worked per week – Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
2. National Living Wage.
3. Nice, clean working environment.
4. Holiday Allowance - 20 days + bank holidays.
5. Company Pension Scheme.
6. Contract - Full Time, Permanent.
