UX Designer - Human Factors

Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

UX Designer - Human Factors - £32/hr (Inside IR35) - Hybrid / Warwickshire - 6 Months (potential to extend)

Vehicle Engineering

Position Description:
Role will involve working with other UX designers, product owners, system owners, and UX researchers creating UX designs, prototypes and specifications that are usable, technically feasible, align with system designs and constraints and are based on sound Human Centred Design principles in automotive HMI. Role will also involve general project management, communicating project status and designs to stakeholders across the wider business.

Skills Required:

1. Experience in UX Design or have worked closely with UX designers such that they understand their priorities
2. Project management skills - will be regularly working on multiple projects at once
3. Experience with Figma or equivalent Design tools or design systems

Experience Required:
Qualification or 3+ years experience in one of the following areas:

1. Human Factors/HMI
2. Industrial Design or Product Design
3. Product Design Engineering
4. Electrical, Electronic, Software Engineering

Experience Preferred:

1. General understanding of systems engineering and logical design.
2. General understanding of Front end or HMI software development
3. Data analysis experience
4. Experience in creating Animations

Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35. Hybrid working: 2-3 days in the office in Warwickshire.
