About the role of a Utility Site Supervisor
Our client is looking to hire a Site Supervisor, who has prior, and relatively, good knowledge with utilities: Gas, Water, Electricity, and Communication Assets. Attention to details will help standing out as you will need to be writing documentation, such as: Documents for ITP's, RAMS, WPP's etc.
Responsibilities for a Utility Site Supervisor
The candidate who is successful following the hiring process, will be responsible for:
- The writing of documentation required for ITP's, RAMS, WPP's etc.
- Ensuring all health and safety practices are monitored and adhered to effectively and correctly and implemented at all stages of the project
- Document and a record a Daily Site diary, that should include any: changes, variations, site attendance, use of materials, record of deliveries etc.
- Manage ITP's and ensure they are agreed and completed accordingly
- Management of Health and Safety on site.
- Manage staff, sub-contractors and suppliers
Requirements for a Utility Site Supervisor
A competent and standout Site Supervisor will be able to demonstrate:
- A clear history of dealing with utilities and knowledge of best practice
- Knowledge and understanding of working towards construction contracts
- Valid CSCS Gold or Black
- SMSTS
- First Aid Qualified
- Ability to run a site with confidence
- NRSWA Supervisor (Desirable)
- TWC (Desirable)
