This is an exciting opportunity for an SC Cleared User Researcher to play an important role in the successful delivery of sensitive digital transformation projects in the public sector. Working as part of a well-established multidisciplinary team of technology leaders, the successful candidate will work closely with public sector stakeholders and end users to best understand and advise the technical team as they move to the development phases.
Responsibilities
User Research on a range of projects, ideally within government departments.
Champion user needs, user-centred design, and usability, and have some experience of a range of user-centred practices.
Use experience of working and conducting research across multiple organisations; ensuring that all organisations are well represented in research activities.
Align user research with team goals to help support decision-making.
Help develop research related artefacts i.e. personas and user journey maps.
Provide and present quantitative and qualitative data.
Conduct research analysis and synthesis, and present findings in easily digestible and visual formats.
Knowledge of Government's Digital Service Standards.
Working as part of an Agile team.
Collaborative, personable and a good visual, literal and verbal communicator.
Additional Information
Rate offered: Up to £550/ day.
IR35 Status: Outside.
Start Date: ASAP.
Duration: 6 months (Significant opportunity for extension).
Location: Hybrid / Hampshire, United Kingdom.
