User Researcher

Swindon - 1/2 days a week onsite (All travel expenses paid)

3-month contract - starting 1st April

Outside IR35

£250 - £300pd

iO are working with an established and rapidly growing Digital agency in their search for a User Researcher.

They work with global technology leaders to provide digital transformation services to a number of customers in industries including not-for-profit, financial services, and the public sector.

This position is working with one of their public sector clients on a new project that is currently in the discovery phase. As the User Researcher, you will collaborate with a wide range of other disciplines, working closely with designers. You'll develop and execute research plans to support product development on a daily basis.

We are looking for a User Researcher with experience in:

  • GDS Experience is a must
  • Proven experience as a User Researcher or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Ability to analyse and synthesise research findings into actionable recommendations
  • Experience conducting usability testing and user interviews
  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Experience using research tools such as Optimal Workshop or similar
