You’ll have strong previous experience in a User Research role using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Display solid capability across the whole User Research lifecycle from defining recruitment briefs and research objectives through to synthesis and reporting.
Strong experience in a wide range of research methods including user interviews, surveys, contextual enquiries, diary studies, and usability tests.
Have coherent and effective storytelling to communicate research findings to teams and stakeholders through the best suitable format e.g. personas, customer journeys, and reports.
What you'll do
At NatWest Boxed, we put the user at the centre of everything we do. You will play a vital role in building a user research function, aimed at supporting and upskilling our product teams and gathering new insights across our user base.
Additionally, you’ll be:
Designing, running, and managing user research using a variety of techniques.
Sharing and promoting discussions about users across the company.
Helping to educate designers, product managers, and content designers on best practice research techniques.
Working with the data analytics team to combine research to discover new insights.
Helping to foster a culture of team involvement in user research, team analysis, design rationale, and decision-making based on user needs.
The skills you'll need
You’ll need to have experience conducting user research in a product-led company and using both qualitative and quantitative research techniques to address design challenges for new and existing products or services. You’ll also be creative in your problem-solving and able to work well with product squads and stakeholders of varying levels.
We’ll also be looking for:
Knowledge of research techniques, including UX evaluative testing, diary studies, ethnographic observation, survey design, and co-creation workshops.
The ability to deliver relevant and effective insights under varying project constraints.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels with the ability to champion design thinking and influence key stakeholders.
An interest in upskilling product teams and building a democratised research function.
Experience working with analytics and data teams to support User Research insights.
