This role is for a strategic, user-focused UX Designer to join our experience team. You will play a strategic role in supporting the creation of digital and service experiences by understanding user needs, stakeholders' visions, and translating them into core UX deliverables. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to shape the user experience across our digital platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct desk-based and user research through methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, analytics, and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with our wider product, development, and related teams to execute the product vision (features, enhancements, and iterations).
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution of the product vision and user requirements.
- Translate user insights into journey maps, personas, and information architectures to support the build of a product or website.
- Conduct user studies, run focus groups, and do whatever it takes to research and build the right experience for our users.
- Collaborate with a team of 2-3 designers via design reviews, design critiques, and design sprint planning.
- Work closely with the Visual Designer and Content Writer throughout projects with low-level design, research, and journey mapping while supporting BA roles to document project features and goals.
Requirements:
- 2 years of design experience with a strong portfolio of products that have shipped.
- Strong UX and research design skills.
- Proficiency in working with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, and Illustrator.
- Able to workshop with clients and engage in discussions around a project.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusion throughout projects.
- Great presentation and communication skills to get the team onboard with your vision.
- Obsession with users and crafting the perfect experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience building products for mobile and web platforms.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
