Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Basic Salary: up to £50,000 OTE, including £25,000 basic plus Uncapped Commission Scheme!

Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00 with one day off midweek, Saturdays 09:00 to 17:00 and Sundays 10:00 to 14:00 on rota basis

Lookers Ford South Shields is recruiting for an ambitious and passionate Sales Executive to join our hard-working and friendly team on site. Specialising in Used Vehicle sales, you will work alongside our sales team to provide Lookers first-class customer service.

Joining our enthusiastic Sales Executives, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will also be provided with our in-house sales training and continuous support from our established Sales Executives - this is an incredible opportunity which is not to be missed!

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person
  • Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
  • Liaising with all dealership departments to ensure a smooth and efficient Sales process

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated to crack on with the job, and passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.

Previous experience in a similar position with brand training within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential as we are always on the look-out for new/fresh talent to join our teams. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
