Urology Outpatient HCA

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our Urology Outpatient team. The successful candidate will support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the smooth running of clinics.

Main duties of the job

• Assist in preparing patients for urology procedures and investigations.
• Support clinicians with minor procedures, such as catheterisation and cystoscopies.
• Provide reassurance and information to patients and their families.
• Perform routine observations, such as blood pressure and urinalysis.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the clinic.
• Manage stock levels and ensure clinical areas are well-equipped.
• Accurately record patient information and assist with administrative tasks.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year NHS Experience as a HCA
• Minimum of 1 year experience within a Urology department
