About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our team. As a key member of the workforce, you will manage both in-hours and out-of-hours caseloads, addressing a wide range of healthcare needs within a primary care setting. You will work collaboratively with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care for all patients, providing both telephone advice, home visits, and centre visits as required.

Your Day to Day
As a Salaried GP, you will:

  • Assess and develop safe care plans for patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed health problems.
  • Provide safety netting for any changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Refer patients to appropriate health and social care providers as needed.
  • Comply with all clinical and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Support with the induction and ongoing support of new GPs within the service.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in audits, reviews, and clinical meetings.
  • Work flexibly across various Urgent Care Centres, at home visits, or by triaging patients as required.
  • Ensure accurate and clear documentation in the IT systems, adhering to clinical standards and organisational guidelines.

Qualifications, Experience & Training

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
  • Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
  • General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained
  • On the English medical performers list
  • Enhanced DBS check
