Are you looking to start your career in teaching but don’t yet have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? This is a great opportunity for an Unqualified Teacher to join a secondary school in Wigan area. You'll be teaching a range of subjects, following lesson plans, and supporting students in their progress.

Position Overview

• Job Title: Unqualified Teacher
• Location: Wigan
• Day Rate: £95 - £110 per day dependant on experience
• Start Date: Easter 2025

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and productive.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, focused learning environment.
• Provide assistance to students as needed, helping them with classwork and assignments.
• Maintain students' focus on the task at hand and manage disruptions effectively.
• Support teachers with administrative tasks, including marking and feedback, where required.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. We welcome graduates from all academic backgrounds, with a passion for education and commitment to student success.
