An Alternative Provision situated in the borough of Harrow is actively searching for an unqualified teacher with experience in SEMH. This position is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately.

This is a friendly and supportive Alternative Provision that works closely with SEMH. This particular school is located in the North West of London. The Alternative Provision is easily accessible for those who drive and is within walking distance from the local stations. The school has a strong ethos that is implemented every day. The staff have created a high morale and want to make sure they provide a safe and comfortable space for everyone.

Unqualified Teacher

Ideally, the successful applicant will have a proven track record working as an unqualified teacher within an SEMH environment, but the Headteacher will happily consider anyone who is looking to transition from a mainstream setting.

The successful unqualified teacher will be covering/teaching 6-8 KS3/4 students with SEMH.

The successful unqualified teacher will need to be committed, flexible, and resilient with the ability to use their own initiative where required. Progress with these pupils can be slow when compared to their contemporaries, so patience, a caring nature, passion for the job, and strong self-belief will be essential.
