Unqualified Science Teacher (Cover Supervisor) - Multiple Schools in Liverpool

Are you passionate about science and eager to share your enthusiasm with young minds? Teaching Personnel is looking for an unqualified Science Teacher (Cover Supervisor) to work across multiple schools in Liverpool, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students in their learning journey.

Location: Multiple secondary schools in Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Competitive daily rate (£90-£120 per day, depending on experience)
Contract: Flexible - Full-time & Part-time available

What's the Role?

As a Science Cover Supervisor, you'll be stepping into classrooms to deliver pre-planned science lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and motivated. No formal teaching qualification is required—just a passion for science, strong classroom management skills, and the confidence to lead a class.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Leading science lessons across KS3 & KS4 using pre-prepared materials
  2. Encouraging curiosity and discussion about biology, chemistry, and physics
  3. Managing the classroom, ensuring a positive learning environment
  4. Supporting students in their learning and inspiring a love for science
  5. Gaining valuable classroom experience—perfect for aspiring teachers!

What We're Looking For:
  1. A degree in Science (or a related subject) is desirable but not essential
  2. Previous experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
  3. A passion for education and the ability to engage students
  4. Confidence to lead a classroom and enforce school policies
  5. A can-do attitude and a desire to make a difference!

Additional Requirements:
An Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service
