Universal Cylindrical Grinder

Inspire Resourcing are currently seeking an experienced Universal Cylindrical Grinder to join a well-established engineering company based in Chesterfield. This role would suit someone who has had exposure to an engineering environment. Ideally, you will be eager to learn and assist in the manufacturing process.

Duties:

1. Must be competent in Cylindrical Grinding
2. Working to tight tolerances
3. Preparing the machine for grinding operations by setting it up correctly
4. Grinding various components with precision and accuracy
5. Ensuring all grinding operations are carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements:

1. Fanuc controls
2. Have a good engineering background
3. Proven experience as a Cylindrical Grinder

Hours and salary:

1. Monday - Friday
2. 6am until 2pm
3. Early finish on a Friday
4. Starting salary of £15.37 and increasing to £17.70
5. No weekends
6. Overtime available
7. Temporary to permanent contract
