Key Responsibilities: As a Community Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Personal Care: Assisting service users with dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
Household Tasks: Making and changing beds, light cleaning, and helping with the general upkeep of their homes.
Meal Preparation: Preparing light meals and assisting service users at mealtimes if required.
Medication Administration: Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
Emotional Support: Building positive relationships with service users, offering emotional support, companionship, and helping them maintain independence in their daily lives.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills: in English (both written and spoken).
Caring and compassionate nature: Genuine passion for helping others.
Driving Licence: Must be a confident driver, holding a valid driver's licence and willing to travel between service users’ homes.
What We Offer:
Gross Pay: £11.44 per hour.
Full-time hours: minimum 37.5 hours per week.
Paid Holidays: 28 days of paid leave (pro rata).
Training and Development: Ongoing professional development and the chance to earn additional qualifications.
