An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent practice in Swindon, Wiltshire. The practice is launching a comprehensive 24-hour service, and the successful candidate will be at the forefront of this exciting development. They are looking for this service to begin in September 2025.

The Role:

  • The position offers a real ECC caseload with the facilities to work up cases, including CT, where appropriate.
  • You will be part of a buzzing hospital team with a diverse caseload, high-quality facilities, and the chance to work alongside certificate holders in a multidisciplinary hospital.
  • A well-qualified and highly experienced team will support the care you deem necessary, and all patients will stay on-site, with care transferred to the day team during morning rounds.
  • The role requires excellent communication skills and client care, with a passion for the highest quality clinical standards and service.

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in small animal practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and client care.
  • A passion for the highest quality clinical standards and service.

  • The practice operates from a central hospital and five branches based in local communities.
  • It provides easy access to the beautiful Cotswolds countryside as well as nearby motorways to London, Wales, the South West, and Birmingham.

The Package:

  • Competitive salary of between £60,000 and £75,000 per annum, reflective of skills and experience.
