UKGI COO Operations Assistant – Salary Circa £25,000. - 6-month Fixed term contract.
You will be working closely with the UKGI Chief Operations Officer, Operations Manager, and Executive Assistant in supporting the day-to-day running of the UKGI COO Function.
The role of the UKGI COO has expanded and with it the need for additional operational support, particularly around the number of engagements, events, and programmes that are sponsored by the COO function.
A bit about the job:
As the UKGI COO Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Assist with day-to-day activities, providing operational support and assistance to the UKGI COO Operations Manager and EA.
- Assisting with COO communications, creating and sharing communications on behalf of the COO office.
- Event planning, support in event planning for UKGI COO, such as conferences, function meetings, and social events.
- Collation of papers and reports. A large part of the role is bringing information together. You won't be writing the content but need to ensure there are no spelling or grammar mistakes and that documents are correctly formatted in line with Aviva brand guidelines.
- Assist with other administrative duties on an ad hoc basis as required.
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office; this role is based in Norwich.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication skills – you might be emailing someone to touch base or writing informative but engaging communications.
- Collaborative – a large part of the role will involve working with people from different teams.
- Innovative – we love new ideas and ways of working, bring what you can to the table.
- Self-starter – whilst you will have lots of mentoring and coaching to help you settle into your new role and ensure your success, we want someone with a proactive mindset.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary: Circa £25,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
