UK Sales Engineer - Automotive

Location: UK

Salary: £40k to £45k per annum + Uncapped Bonus + Car

Position: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a UK Sales Engineer for a company that manufactures test equipment for the automotive sector. They are part of a highly successful global organization looking to expand their sales team.

The products currently supplied are always in high demand, and they are prototyping within a new sector with product releases expected in 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Promote sales for the client's product range.
2. Learn about the product, understand the technical features, and articulate the benefits to customers.
3. Understand the competitive market to achieve required results.
4. Be the face of the company, meeting new and existing clients to build relationships and increase sales.
5. Utilize the CRM system to track potential and existing customers.
6. Win new business and upsell to previous customers.
7. Travel across the UK, being on the road 3 to 4 days a week with some overnight stays as needed.
8. Maintain a valid driving license.

Incentives:

The role includes a bonus scheme typically around 20% of your annual salary, but it is uncapped so the earning potential is high.

The company is based in Buckinghamshire but will consider applicants from anywhere in the UK. This is a hybrid role, and you must be willing to travel to Buckinghamshire when required.

In this role, you will work for a global leader in the automotive sector, part of a company that has sites worldwide and close to 50,000 employees. With over 90 years of experience, you will be part of a team that designs, manufactures, and supplies equipment for automotive sectors within a purpose-built facility, handling everything from one-off assemblies to larger batch production.
