The Chief Data Office within Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) is responsible for establishing and enforcing data principles, policies and standards covering data management and all data lifecycle disciplines. We design effective Data Management policies and processes, set and oversee execution of the bank’s Data Strategy, and enable risk reduction and compliance with Data related regulatory requirements.
You will have the chance to gain a deeper understanding of all aspects of data management, including processes, tools, roles and responsibilities relating to data governance and data quality management.

Your key responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing and managing CDO metadata inventory for the UK.
- Scope includes all relevant areas of UK business, including Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity Management, Risk Management, etc.
- Partnering with Divisional Data Officers to identify and build inventory of CDEs, Data Lineage, Authoritative Data Sources, and Producer-Consumer contracts for UK Scope.
- Designing and implementing reporting to articulate progress of Data Management Capabilities adoption and impact Data Risk for the region.
- Driving migration of existing UK Data Management capabilities to global tooling upon implementation.
Your skills and experience:
- Experience in developing Data Management framework, standards, processes.
- Experience implementing Data Governance framework at a large and complex financial institution.
- Experience developing and managing metadata describing front-to-back data supply chain.
- Experience managing inventory of Data Controls.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
