Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Head of Commercial for an interim and possible permanent position in the south of the UK to assist in the improvement of commercial efficiency and accuracy for an aerospace client, with an excellent customer portfolio that includes BAE, Raytheon, and Leonardo. The position will be starting ASAP for an initial 6-9 months, with the potential to turn into a permanent placement.

The initial goals for the interim personnel will be to:

Decrease the response time for open and competitive RFQs.
Develop and implement an estimating system that autonomously produces data for RFQ responses.
Reduce reliance on other staff and impose new solutions that allow others to work efficiently.

Successful candidates for this position will have:

An extensive background within aerospace production.
Proven experience in implementing similar ideas and solutions in their previous roles.

For these requirements, our client is offering up to £500 per day for 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working remotely one day each week after an initial period. If relocation is required for this position, hotel accommodation can be provided.
