An established industry player in the London Insurance Market is seeking a dedicated Account Executive to manage UK Finpro Accounts. This role involves full client management, from renewals to new business inquiries, ensuring clients receive the best coverage and pricing. Your new company
Your Independent Lloyd’s Broker primarily specialises in FI, FINNPRO, Cyber and commercial D&O risks and is a reputable broker headquartered within the London Insurance Market. They pride themselves on providing 5-star services to elite Finpro clients. Due to recent growth and the development of a UK Finpro retail arm, your Lloyd’s Broking House now has a diverse team of over 300 people and business partners stretching out to over 70 countries. Due to such substantial growth, a permanent Account Executive is now needed to handle UK Finpro Accounts alongside two Senior Directors.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a full client management role, from handling renewals, dealing with new business enquiries, quoting via Syndicates and Insurers, and producing all relevant MRC Slips, Quote sheets, and technical documentation. You will be helping the Retail Finpro division to expand through managing accounts and analysing/providing advice on risk and insurance issues and structuring appropriate coverage. You will be required to negotiate and obtain the most appropriate carrier, coverage, and price, meeting the client’s demands. You will also be responsible for producing market presentations in order to secure the best possible terms for the client, with full material disclosure for the clients’ requirements. Additionally, you will need to negotiate agreement to post-placement changes through contract endorsements. Your strong knowledge of either UK Retail Finpro Accounts or UK commercial D&O risks will enable you to provide clients with the best possible cover.
What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous experience working within a Lloyd’s Broking House on Finpro or D&O Accounts for Retail clients in a similar role as an Account Executive will lead to your success. You will be technically minded, being able to produce various technical documentation including Endorsements and Slips. Your friendly and confident nature will allow you to adapt well into a diverse team, whilst building and maintaining strong client relationships. As this division is new and growing, you will need to be flexible and adaptable to help the team with the overwhelming workload. You must have solid Insurance experience working on Finpro and commercial D&O Accounts.
