We've been retained by a highly reputable manufacturer in Greater Manchester who, due to recent growth, are looking to strengthen their finance function by recruiting a new divisional FD. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Global VP of Finance and Systems.
A key player in the C-suite, you'll be a partner to the Managing Director and together you'll collaborate with the senior leadership team to meet financial objectives which will elevate the business further.
You will be a qualified Finance Director with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role (FMCG). You should also have worked in a global organisation.
You'll be looking for a role where you can join and stay for many years, making an impact on the finance strategy.
Ideally, you'll be degree educated with a relevant accountancy qualification such as CIMA or ACCA. It's essential that you've got a background in manufacturing - a strong understanding of costings and US GAAP is important.

Working as a partner to the MD, you'll thrive in this role where collaboration is key; you'll work on strategic projects across all areas of the business.
You'll join as Finance Director and will be responsible for the finance function for the region. You will head up a large team encompassing transactional finance, IT and purchasing.
As part of the leadership team, you'll guide the business on financial strategy - developing new policies and procedures, budget control and reporting.
You'll develop and implement an internal audit programme, ensuring compliance with financial and statutory regulations. Your responsibilities also include reporting, analysis and risk management.
There will be UK travel involved in your role at least twice per month and occasional US and EU travel.
