Job Purpose:

The Cluster Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the business and marketing plans for the Guerbet product portfolio in the Country/Cluster under his/her responsibility.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in the UK-BX region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product launch activities, building strategic partnerships, and defining the product portfolio at the local level. This role requires close collaboration with Regional Marketing, Sales, General Management, Finance, and other local functions to ensure product performance, profitability, and market access.

Location: United Kingdom (Birmingham, Solihull)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business and Marketing Plans:
    • Develop and implement business and marketing plans for the Guerbet product portfolio in the assigned country/cluster.
    • Define specific product portfolio at the local level (expansion or pruning) in collaboration with Regional Marketing.
    • Drive product performance and profitability.
    • Provide inputs from VOC (Voice of Customer) on product needs.
    • Define pricing ladder vs. value proposition for the portfolio in alignment with Sales, GM, Finance, and Regional Marketing.
    • Coordinate actions with local RA (Regulatory Affairs) for Market Access.
    • Develop criteria for segmentation and respective value proposition alignment.
  2. Product Launch and Partnerships:
    • Drive product launch activities at the local/cluster level.
    • Build and maintain local partnerships as needed.
    • Lead product launch projects, such as the Elucirem launch.
  3. Educational and Promotional Programs:
    • Design and execute local education plans and programs, aligned with Regional Marketing Lead and Global Education Manager.
    • Develop local educational programs (including CoE, symposia) in collaboration with Regional Marketing and Global Education.
    • Design and execute local promotion plans, aligned with Regional Marketing Lead and GM.
    • Create innovative downstream marketing programs for the country.
    • Develop digital campaigns and drive e-consent rate and omnichannel plans.
  4. Congress and Training:
    • Lead and execute plans for local congresses (booth design, contracts with societies, marketing materials, commercial team coordination, etc.) in coordination with Regional Marketing.
    • Identify specific training needs of sales teams and execute training programs.
  5. Demand Forecast and Sales Support:
    • Lead demand forecasting with support from other local functions (e.g., Sales).
    • Support the sales team for product allocation optimization within the country.
  6. Regional and Global Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the global/regional marketing team to provide inputs for global strategy development for product categories.
    • Adapt, customize, and prepare a Cluster strategy for product categories and lead implementation in the cluster in close collaboration with GM.
  7. Cluster Marketing Strategies and Plan:
    • Drive all marketing activities in the cluster, including marketing and business plans, segmentation, pricing strategy, positioning, promotional initiatives, product life cycle plans, demand planning, product recalls, and advising/planning on future product developments.
    • Lead new product launch plans for the market, including supporting and developing distributors in different regions.
    • Collaborate with the Commercial Director and General Manager to define and implement marketing strategies and tactics in the most relevant regions and segments.
    • Develop and adapt promotional strategies as needed to succeed with the life cycle management of each product and category based on market trends/needs, including digital marketing strategies.

Your profile:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or equivalent. MBA a plus.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the medical device/healthcare business segment. Medical device sales and marketing experience is highly valuable.
  3. Digital Marketing background will be highly valuable.
  4. Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate with external customers, global counterparts, and team members).
  5. Fluent in English (written and oral).
  6. Highly self-motivated, detailed and results-oriented, resilient, autonomous.
  7. Strategic mindset.
  8. Availability to travel (~25-35%) both locally and internationally.
  9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
