POSITION OVERVIEW
Teachers will deliver high-quality and communicative EFL Task Based lessons as part of a teaching team. Lessons involve engaging students through a variety of activities to help them develop their skills and provide an environment that increases the use of the English language in lessons.
Working hours are variable and will be organised according to a rota in the centre. You will not be required to go on excursions, activities or any pastoral care outside your teaching and admin hours on teaching days. However, MLA programmes are hard work and you might exceptionally be requested to assist outside your teaching hours at the same hourly rate.

SCHEDULE
Non-Residential contracts are based on a minimum of 10 up to 36 working hours over a 7-day session including at least one full day off per week. You will be expected to cover up to 36 contact teaching hours and up to 6 hours of meetings, administrative duties, and CPD sessions. While these administrative duties will not be counted in hours, we will calculate compensation by applying a rate of 15% to 17% to your hourly rate. However, MLA programmes are hard work and you might exceptionally be requested to assist outside your regular working hours.

COMPENSATION
Non-Residential staff can earn up to GBP 673 per week (plus 12.07% holiday pay). Hourly rate GBP 15 to GBP 16 plus 15% to 17% to cover administrative duties based on qualifications and experience (plus 12.07% holiday pay).
Example: If you complete 36 teaching hours at a rate of GBP 16 per hour, the total payment would be GBP 576 for teaching hours, with an additional 17% (GBP 97.92) allocated for the corresponding administrative duties. Holiday pay of 12.07% will also be added (GBP 69.50). In this case, the full amount before PAYE deductions (tax and NI) would be GBP 743.42.
*Returning teachers will receive a bonus of GBP 150 after completing their full contract.
*Please note that due to the logistics of the employment, you may be required to move to another centre where extra staff are required. Only in this case will we cover all the travel expenses that may be incurred. Number of hours will depend on centre requirements (min 10 and max 36 hours per week).
