UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create innovative design solutions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to improve designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain design systems and UI components.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user insights to refine designs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into user-centric designs.
• Optimize applications for responsiveness and accessibility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design approaches.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing past UI/UX design projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks.
• Understanding of branding and visual storytelling.

Where is the role based?

This role is fully remote; however, the right candidate will be happy to occasionally travel to different locations in the UK for client meetings. Our hours of work are 8.30-5.30pm, however, if you are interested but are looking for alternative hours/days, please talk to us about your requirements and if we can accommodate them, we will!
